The highest performance in Dynamic Nord regulators. The TR-80 is the "big brother" of the IR-50 set. It uses the TR-81 first stage whose notable feature is the incorporation of a sealed chamber. It is therefore the ideal regulator for those users who are going to dive in cold waters (less than 10º) and/or polluted waters (areas with a lot of mud, many suspended particles, etc...). The TR-83 second stage has the same features as its little sister, the IR-53, but a specific front has been added to use in currents or with a Scooter and prevent it from entering in free-flow. It is a very high-performance set suitable for any type of diving we do, from the coldest waters, the dirtiest caves, explorations with Scooter... A real 4x4 regulator!

The first stage is of the compensated type with dry chamber, offering us the gas supply without alterations, continuous, smooth and with plenty of flow.

Its second stage, also compensated, with very high performance, makes breathing the same as if we were on the surface, absolutely natural, regardless of the depth at which we are. Its light weight eliminates jaw fatigue, a detail of utmost importance when doing long-term dives. This, added to its fit and design features, will mean that once you try it, you will never want to breathe from another regulator again!

Second stage:

  • Compensation ensures that regardless of the residual pressure left in the cylinder, your inhalation comfort remains comfortable.
  • Controllable Venturi Effect: By setting this to “-“, the Venturi effect is attenuated so that the second stage does not unintentionally blow off on land. Under water, the Venturi effect is then increased on the “+” setting, allowing for easy and comfortable inhalation.
  • Response Resistance Adjustment: Every diver has a personal perception of the “optimal” inhalation resistance. Using the adjustment knob, everyone finds the best personal setting and thus maximum breathing comfort.
  • Easy exhalation: To provide comfortable and easy exhalation, the exhaust valve and cover offers minimum resistance, and the deflector has been designed to reduce bubbles on the diver’s face.
  • The front cover with the openings on the sides prevents it from entering in free-flow when we dive in strong currents or with a scooter
  • Bubble deflector: Our bubble deflector is a step up from the previous standard. It directs gas bubbles away from their field of vision, but in conjunction with our enlarged exhalation membrane, it also lowers exhalation work, increasing the overall breathing comfort of our second stages.
  • The LP hose is tested for a maximum pressure of 34 bar. The mouthpiece is made of high-end anti-allergic silicone for maximum comfort. The breathing work of the first and second stage IR-50 is an average of 0.84 J/L.
  • Mouthpiece: Our mouthpiece is also our own development and made of anti-allergic silicone. It guarantees a firm and comfortable fit in the jaw and can be changed in just a few steps if necessary. It is also available as a spare part in specialized shops.
